SAGE always follows the Golf Canada rules.  To ensure the integrity of our prizes and awards there is no such thing as a "gimmie" putt.  Always play the ball as it lies.  Lift clean and place can be declared on days of wet weather.  This will only declared on the first tee and only applies to the ball on the fairway, No lift clean and place in the rough.  Lift Clean and Place is generally in place up to the May 24 weekend and after the Thanksgiving Day Weekend.

There is no such thing as a MULLIGAN.  If you have a really bad hole and are unsure of your score you must diqualify yourself from the "Net" competition. You may still compete for the "Proxinity" awards. Only in Stableford events can you pick up and "X" your score on the Scorecard and still be eligiable for prize money.

To speed play SAGE committee has decaled balls lost in fescue, hazardsor tree lined areas can be considerd lateral hazards.

You may move your ball if it is in a divot.

Preferred lies are allowed in bunkers.
